Job Title: Senior UI Developer
Location: Park Ridge, NJ
Duration: 6 Months+

General Responsibilities:

  • Work with a large team of Front-end developers using cutting   edge technology’s to build and maintain publicly facing websites.
  • Must be able to work in a high pressure high volume web shop meeting strict deadlines.
  • Working on the presentation layer of Client’s website using AJAX/JavaScript/CSS/Spriting/XHTML.
  • JavaScript libraries like JQuery and prototype.
  • Work with Graphics and Java team to Build JSP’s from layouts using CSS.
  • Programming for all supported browsers: IE6, 7 and 8, Firefox,   Safari, Chrome.


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Expert XHTML/DHTML/JavaScript skills.
  • Expert working with JSP/JSON.
  • Experience with JSTL and STRUTS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment.
  • Comfort working in fast paced environment on multiple projects that are very different in nature.
  • Prioritizing and multitasking a must.
  • Versioning application

  • AJAX
  • Interwoven or Content Management tool
  • Double Click or Ad Management Tool
  • XML/XSLT
  • Omniture

Direct Client Need – Senior Java/J2ee Developer

Job Title: Senior Java/J2ee Developer
Location: Park Ridge, NJ
Positions: Multiple

Job Description:
Provides technical leadership for Java Developers working on e-Commerce projects.  Ensures that the application architecture and development standards are followed by the Java developers.  Must be proficient with J2EE, Core Java, Data Structure  & Algorithms, MVC Frameworks, SQL, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), ORM Framework (Hibernate), High Volume distributed applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of projects assigned by their management.
  • Lead the development of projects to extend and enhance the existing websites.
  • Head up the support and maintenance of their assigned section of e-commerce websites.
  • Lead developers onshore & offshore to implement the architecture modeled by the architects.
  • Responsible for Quality Control Reviews
  • Work with Project Managers, Functional Managers, Architects and developers to accurately estimate the work effort on projects plans.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA testers, DBAs and Server administrators throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Consistently communicate the status of their progress to their management and members of other groups on the project.
  • Participate in load testing to find performance bottlenecks in the e-commerce application releases.
  • Coach their developers in areas where needed.
  • Account for at least 70% of their development time in our Project Management tool.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Ecommerce experience is required.
  • Should have minimum 8 years of experience in Java/J2ee technologies.
  • Strong experience in ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Experience working with databases like SQL.
  • DB2 is a plus.
